Ecuadorian Puchero
Ingredients
1 kilogram of Pork ribs
1 kilogram of Potatoes
2 liters of Water
2 Cabbage leaves cut into small pieces
3 Garlic
2 Onions
1 tablespoon of Cumin
40 milliliters of Milk
1 tablespoon of Oregano
Preparation
Step 1 : After washing, peeling, and chopping the garlic and onion, cook half of the garlic and onion pieces over low heat in a pot with the two liters of water for about 20 minutes.
Step 2 : Next, wash, chop into pieces, and set aside the cabbage.
Step 3 : In a preheated skillet, add the olive oil and the remaining garlic and onion pieces to sauté for 3 minutes, then add them to the pot with the broth.
Step 4 : Then, wash, peel, and chop the potatoes into small pieces and add the potato pieces and cabbage to the broth, stirring and cooking until the potatoes soften.
Step 5 : Finally, add the oregano and milk.
Step 6 : Once ready, serve and enjoy.
