Ingredients

2 pounds of Pork

3 tablespoons of Achiote

6 Garlic cloves

1 Green pepper

1 Red pepper

1 cup of Peas

5 cups of Water

3 cups of Rice

Parsley

Preparation

Step 1 : In a large pot, sauté the achiote along with the chopped pork until golden brown.

Step 2 : Then, add the garlic, onion, peppers, and peas, cooking until the vegetables are tender.

Step 3 : Next, add the rice and water, bringing the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to cook slowly until the rice is ready.

Step 4 : Finally, serve the dish hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
