Ecuadorian Lamb Stew

Ingredients

2 kilograms of Lamb meat

½ cup of Flour

¼ cup of Achiote

1 Red onion

2 Minced garlic cloves

½ tablespoon of Chopped cilantro

½ Red bell pepper

½ Chopped cilantro

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : In a container, combine the lamb meat with pepper, cumin, salt, and flour.

Step 2 : Mix everything with your hands.

Step 3 : In a separate saucepan, add the achiote and the meat to sauté for 5 minutes, then remove the meat.

Step 4 : In the same saucepan, add the onion, garlic, red bell pepper, cilantro, tomatoes, salt, and cumin.

Step 5 : Turn off the heat and pour everything into a blender along with the beer.

Step 6 : Add the resulting mixture to the meat and marinate for an hour.

Step 7 : Then, add the remaining ingredients and once ready, serve with potatoes or rice.
