Ingredients

1 Green onion

5 tablespoons of Achote oil

2 Chopped red onions

8 Crushed garlic cloves

2 tablespoons of Salt

1 tablespoon of Oregano

1 tablespoon of Cumin

1 teaspoon of Pepper

1 cup of Orange juice

1 cup of Beer

3 kilograms of Pork leg with skin

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious dish, start by blending the green onion, chopped red onions, salt, cumin, oregano, pepper, garlic, beer, and orange juice.

Step 2 : After processing for 3 minutes, set the mixture aside.

Step 3 : Then, use a knife to make deep cuts throughout the pork leg.

Step 4 : Place the leg in a large covered container and pour the reserved blend to marinate it for 24 hours in the refrigerator.

Step 5 : The next day, remove the leg from the refrigerator and place it on an oven-safe glass tray.

Step 6 : Bake at 200°C for 30 minutes.

Step 7 : Then, remove from the oven and cover with the juices released by the meat and the achote oil.

Step 8 : Cover with aluminum foil and bake again for an hour and a half.

Step 9 : Finally, remove from the oven, take off the aluminum foil, let cool slightly, serve, and enjoy this exquisite dish.
