Canelazo
Ingredients
6 cups of Water
8 Cinnamon sticks
1 cup of Grated sugar or panela
¼ cup of Aguardiente
Preparation
Step 1 : In a pot, place the water together with the cinnamon sticks and the grated sugar or panela, and wait for it to boil.
Step 2 : Then, reduce the heat and cook on low, keeping the pot covered, for 40 minutes.
Step 3 : Once this time has passed, remove from heat and add the aguardiente.
Step 4 : Finally, serve the Canelazo immediately.
