Ingredients

6 cups of Water

8 Cinnamon sticks

1 cup of Grated sugar or panela

¼ cup of Aguardiente

Preparation

Step 1 : In a pot, combine water, cinnamon sticks, and grated sugar or panela, and bring to a boil.

Step 2 : Then reduce the heat and simmer with the lid on for 40 minutes.

Step 3 : After this time, remove from the heat and add the aguardiente.

Step 4 : Finally, serve the canelazo immediately.
