Almond Horchata
Ingredients
200 grams of Peeled almonds
1 liter of Water
1 cup of Sugar
Cinnamon
1 Lemon zest
Preparation
Step 1 : Peeled almonds are ground in a processor or chopper until finely powdered.
Step 2 : This powder is placed in a bowl with half a liter of water to macerate for 15 minutes to soften them.
Step 3 : Then, the mixture is blended for one minute, strained, and then strained again with the other half of the water.
Step 4 : After straining again, sugar and lemon zest are added.
