Ingredients

2 cans of Tuna

1 Red onion sliced thinly

4 Tomatoes cut into cubes

2 tablespoons of Finely chopped cilantro

1 Spicy chili, deseeded and finely chopped

20 milliliters of Lime juice

Olive oil

1 pinch of Salt

Preparation

Step 1 : Place the red onion in a bowl and sprinkle with salt.

Step 2 : Then cover with warm water and let soak for 10 minutes.

Step 3 : Afterwards, drain the water and rinse the onions with cold water.

Step 4 : Mix the onion with tomato, cilantro, chili, lime juice, tuna, olive oil, and salt to taste.

Step 5 : This mixture can be served immediately or left to rest for about 30 minutes before serving.

Step 6 : Tuna ceviche can be accompanied by plantain chips, chulpi (toasted corn), or lime slices.

Step 7 : Additionally, you can add slices of avocado if desired.
