Ears of Corn with Cheese and Cilantro Sauce
Ingredients
4 Ears of corn or maize cobs
Butter for greasing
1 Egg
2 Crushed garlic cloves
¾ cup of Oil
10 milliliters of Lemon juice
200 grams of Shredded cheese
¼ cup of Finely chopped cilantro
1 pinch of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : Start by peeling and cleaning the ears of corn or maize cobs.
Step 2 : Then, cook in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
Step 3 : Next, rub with butter and grill for 10-15 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes.
Step 4 : In a blender, combine the egg, crushed garlic, cilantro, a pinch of salt, and 1/4 cup of oil, blending until smooth.
Step 5 : Gradually add the remaining oil while blending until the sauce begins to thicken.
Step 6 : Add the cheese and lemon juice, blending until you get a creamy sauce.
Step 7 : Taste and adjust the salt as needed.
Step 8 : When serving, pour the sauce over the corn and garnish with cilantro or grated cheese.
