Ingredients

1 Chicken breast

2 Red onions

5 tablespoons of Ground yellow chili

1 tablespoon of Ground red chili

50 milliliters of Lime juice

2 tablespoons of Chopped garlic

½ Yellow chili

½ cup of Chicken broth

1 Cilantro sprig

1 Lettuce leaf

1 tablespoon of Vegetable oil

1 pinch of Salt

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : Cut the chicken into 1-inch square pieces and julienne the onions to no more than 1 centimeter thick.

Step 2 : Remove the seeds and core of the yellow chili, cutting only half into julienne strips.

Step 3 : Sauté the garlic, ground yellow chili, and ground red chili in a pot with vegetable oil.

Step 4 : Add the chicken pieces with salt and pepper to taste and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.

Step 5 : Then, add the chicken broth and cook for another 5 minutes, afterwards incorporate the julienned onions and yellow chili, cooking for an additional 3 minutes.

Step 6 : Add the lime juice and salt, and cook for 3 to 5 minutes more, being careful not to overcook the onion and chili.

Step 7 : Finally, remove from heat and serve over a bed of lettuce, accompanied by white rice, garnished with a sprig of cilantro.
